LIFESTYLE PHOTOGRAPHER WITH A TIMELESS STYLE.
I achieve lifestyle results by keeping sessions casual and fun, allowing family members to engage each other naturally. This results in photos conveying a family’s real strength, natural unity and strong bond.
Children are free, innocent and unique. To capture the joy they experience in life and their unique personalities I let them interact with each other, parents and myself. This allows me to record candid moments conveying an child’s individual personality as well as childhood innocence.
There are a lot of great filters, which results in moody and trendy images. I’ve opted to stick with basic post-production skills, which allows future generations to focus on the people in the photo, not the filter. It’s fun to look back at old hairstyles, cloths and ultimately the people/personalities in the photos. I want the attention to be on those items, not the photography style.
When I’m not photographing I’m at Tiger Mt. in Issaquah paragliding. Flying at 6,000 feet not only provides unique view of Mt. Si, Seattle and Mt. Rainier but also gives me a unique sense of freedom.
I love spending time with my 10 nieces and nephews (with two more on the way)! Ages range from 3 months to eight years. My three-day mini-vacations to visit them can be exhausting but are always very rewarding. They’re also great subjects to try out new photography techniques!
